THEA BASKERVILLE

THEA — A TRUE HEART OF SERVICE

Thea is more than a founder — she is a servant-leader whose life reflects compassion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others. With a heart tuned to the needs of people and a calling grounded in Christ, Thea leads by example, empowering those around her to walk boldly in their God-given purpose. Her motivation isn’t rooted in titles — it’s driven by the desire to see lives transformed and ministries thrive.

FROM COMPASSION TO CALLING

While attending M.E.E.T. Ministry, Thea Baskerville was deeply impacted by the unwavering dedication and Christian spirit of the staff. She saw their hearts, recognized their challenges, and felt compelled to do something to help lighten their load. That moment of compassion became the seed for what would grow into the M.E.E.T. Ministry Alumni Association. The organization's mission and services today are all built upon the foundation of those same beautiful, Christ-centered spirits that inspired her from the beginning.

The visionary founder and current president of the M.E.E.T. Ministry Alumni Association (MMAA), an independent 501(c)(3) organization established in 2017 with a mission to empower and support Gospel Medical Missionary alumni and staff. A 2015 graduate of M.E.E.T. Ministry, Thea personally experienced the life-changing impact of the training — an experience that planted the seed for what would become a thriving support network for those called to serve in ministry.

While a student at M.E.E.T., Thea was deeply moved by the unwavering dedication, sacrifice, and Christian spirit of the Ministry’s staff. She not only witnessed the power of Gospel Medical Missionary work but also recognized the personal burdens that many of those serving were quietly carrying. From that place of compassion, a calling was born — to create a space where support, encouragement, and restoration would continue long after the classroom experience ended.

With a heart for service and a deep understanding of the unique challenges that come with ministry work, Thea envisioned a community where alumni would never feel alone or under-resourced in their God-given mission. That vision became MMAA — a place of connection, empowerment, and purpose, built to nurture those who have been trained to heal, so they too can be whole.

In addition to her servant leadership, Thea is a motivated, goal-driven team builder who thrives on collaboration and leading with integrity. She believes in the power of relationships, the strength of unity, and the importance of providing tangible solutions for those walking in ministry. What began as a desire to lift the load of those faithfully serving has blossomed into an organization that embraces scholarships, emergency assistance, continued education, and global outreach — all rooted in love and the spirit of Christ.

Although Thea founded MMAA, she understands that building a solid team is essential — because no one can fulfill a great mission alone.
